Kim Karmozyn

Kim’s first experience of Nepalese hospitality and generosity dates back to 1986, when as a volunteer, she spent a year teaching and tree planting in Nepal.

Kim’s involvement with MySmallHelp began in 2009 when her son’s second year primary class chose MySmallHelp Nepal as their charity. As class rep, Kim organised fundraising and the installation of a computer, printer and internet access (including computer training) for the pupils of Marybert School and Orphanage, to enable direct communication via skype with the students in the UK. This lead to the children raising funds to provide new beds, mattresses, & sports equipment for their new friends at Marybert. Kim was delighted when invited by Leander to join MySmallHelp as a trustee in 2013. Kim’s position as global coordinator of a London business and her background in architecture contribute to the diversity MySmallHelp. Kim is passionate about creating global relationships which increase empathy, promote understanding and nurture individuals’ success within a sustainable and ever-expanding friendly world community.
